For the price, we believe this is the best squat-specific barbell on the market. It's been taken over 400kg by individual lifters and used in gyms with multiple 300kg+ squatters — Goliath has set a new standard in squat bars.
We went back to the original black oxide coating for this batch — outside of stainless steel, it interferes with bar feel the least. Oxide does provide corrosion protection, but keep in mind the bar will need some maintenance to keep it in top condition.
This is a specialist squat bar, built for squats. While we build all our bars brutally strong, we don't recommend continual dumping or deadlifting with it.
